This reinterpretation of Macbeth, where Shakespeare’s classic transforms into a dark and poetic concert, arrives for the first time in Chile and Latin America.
Set in an atmosphere of cabaret and tragedy, three witches — embodied by the British musical trio The Tiger Lillies — sing a story of ambition, power, and guilt, offering a playful, ironic, and highly visual take on the text first performed in 1606.
This live theater and music performance, guided by accordions, ukuleles, original songs, and moving ballads by The Tiger Lillies and La Perla 29, speaks of blood-stained hands and the indelible memory of crimes born from unbridled greed. A Macbeth Song is a contemporary exploration of universal themes: remorse and the fragility of the human spirit in the face of desire.
