We want to contribute to decentralizing access to culture geographically, socially and economically, which is why we are always looking for ways to hold shows in every one of Chile’s neighborhoods. Our policies also allow us to offer free functions, reduced price tickets and special programs for all kinds of audiences.

TERRITORIAL ACCESS

Access through policies that allow us to offer shows for free with discounted tickets. Productions are taken into public spaces in all the country’s neighborhoods and can be watched for free, either with or without having to pick up tickets beforehand.

We also have agreements with the public and private sectors to subsidize some of our costs. As a result, we can offer the public tickets at an important discount and programs for socially vulnerable groups so they can watch shows for free.

SOCIOECONOMIC ACCESS

Access is guaranteed by policies that allow us to offer shows for free or with discounted tickets. Productions are taken into public spaces in all the country’s neighborhoods and can be watched for free, either with or without having to pick up tickets beforehand.

ACCESS TO TRAINING ACTIVITIES

We develop a program of training activities and mediation called LabEscénico for every project aimed at the public. Once the Laboratorio Escénico program has been decided upon - with artists from each project taking part - the list of workshops and masterclasses is published on the Teatro a Mil Foundation’s website and application terms and conditions provided. These activities are completely free and spaces are limited for technical reasons.

For training programs with a greater scope that are carried out in conjunction with large cultural institutions, interested parties apply via the foundation’s website according to the terms and conditions published there.
