Gabriel is a 10-year-old boy from Los Vilos who doesn’t conform to the traditional school system of the 1970s. Often punished for his mischief, he ends up inspiring his classmates to see the world differently—and to make one of the most important paleontological discoveries in the region.
El niño de los fósiles is the third project by Teatro Marote, bringing to the stage the live version of their 2019 audiovisual piece of the same name. Mixing puppetry, object theater, and live music, the show creates a warm and inclusive experience through a relaxed tone and carefully balanced visual and sound elements. It invites audiences of all ages and sensitivities to reflect on the spaces we create for neurodivergent children—and how we can keep building more inclusive ways to connect and create together.
